WOW. Amazing. I'm going to have spend a good deal of time thinking about all possible connections here instead of lesson planning. Thank you!
Also add Sombart's idea of 'creative destruction' to the list. It only came to me this morning. Really, this concept, above almost any other, describes my actions (and failings) when it comes to women. Schumpter also discusses it, but not in the prose and depth that Sombart does.
